Liability for the contents

The contents of our pages were compiled with utmost care. However, we are unable to accept any liability for the accuracy, completeness and up-to-datedness of the contents. As set forth in section 7, subs. 1 TMG (Telemedia Act), we as service provider are responsible for our own contents on these pages in accordance with the general laws. However, pursuant to sections 8 to 10 TMG, we as service provider are not obligated to monitor transmitted or saved third-party information or to search for circumstances that indicate an illegal activity. The responsibilities to remove or block the use of information in accordance with the general laws shall remain unaffected hereof. Yet, liability in this regard is only possible starting from the time a specific infringement of the law becomes known. As soon as we gain knowledge of corresponding infringements, we will remove these contents promptly.

Liability for links

Our internet presence contains links to external third-party websites whose contents we are unable to influence. Consequently, we are unable to accept any liability for these third-party contents. The responsibility for the contents of the linked pages always rests with the respective provider or operator of the sites. The linked pages have been reviewed for possible infringements of the law at the time they were linked. No illegal contents were identified at the time they were linked. However, the permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is unreasonable without any specific indications of an infringement. As soon as we gain knowledge of corresponding infringements, we will remove these links promptly.

Copyright

Contents and works on these pages created by the site operators are always governed by German copyright. The written consent from the respective author or creator is compulsory for the duplication, editing, distribution and any kind of use outside the copyright limitations. Downloads and copies of this page are only permitted for private, but not for commercial uses. To the extent the contents of this page have not been created by the operator, the third-party copyrights are protected. In particular, third-party contents will be identified as such. Should you still determine a copyright infringement, kindly let us know. If we gain knowledge of infringements of the law, we will promptly remove these contents.

Data protection

The use of our website is generally possible without entering any personal data. To the extent personal data (for example name, address or e-mail address) are collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis to the extent possible. Without your explicit consent, these data will not be disclosed to third parties.
Please note that the data transmission on the internet (e.g. in connection with the communication via e-mail) can have security gaps. The complete data protection against third party access is impossible.
The use of contact data published within the scope of the site notice requirements by third parties for mailing advertising and information materials that was not explicitly requested is herewith expressly objected to. The site operators explicitly reserve the right to undertake legal action in the event of the unsolicited mailing of advertising information, such as spam mail.

Web Analytics

1. Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies”; these are text files that are stored on the user’s computer to help analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website your IP address will, however, be abbreviated beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other countries that signed the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services linked to website use and internet use for the website operator.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser in relation to Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

(3) You can prevent cookies being saved by changing the settings on your browser software; however, we would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the features of this website in full. Furthermore, you can prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) being recorded and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. As a result, IP addresses are abbreviated before processing to prevent them being linked to a specific individual. Insofar as the data collected about you has a personal reference, this reference shall therefore be immediately excluded and the personal data deleted at once.

(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the generated statistics to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as users. In the exceptional cases when personal data is transferred to the USA, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield - https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

6. Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Procedure (SCM)

(1) Our website uses the Scalable Central Measurement Procedure from INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) to identify key statistical figures regarding the use of our offerings. The aim of the range measurement is to identify statistically – based on a consistent standard procedure - the usage intensity, number of users of a website and surfing behaviour, and thus obtain comparable values across the market.

For web offerings that are members of the German Audit Bureau of Circulation (IVW – http://www.ivw.eu) or participate in studies conducted by the Working Group for Online Media Research (AGOF – http://www.agof.de), the usage statistics are regularly published by the AGOF and Working Group for Media Analysis (agma – http://www.agma-mmc.de), as well as the IVW, and can be viewed on the relevant websites.

1. Data processing

INFOnline GmbH collects and processes data in accordance with German data protection law. Technical and organisational measures ensure that individual users cannot be identified at any time. Data that could be connected with a specific, identifiable person is anonymised as early as possible.

1.1 Anonymisation of the IP address

Each data requires a clear address, the so-called IP address, to transfer data on the internet. The manner in which the internet operates means that it is necessary from a technical perspective to save the IP address, at least for a short time. The IP addresses are abbreviated before any processing and are only processed in an anonymised form. The unabridged IP addresses shall not be saved or processed.

1.2 Geolocalisation up to the level of the federal states/regions

So-called geolocalisation, namely determining the place from which a website was accessed, is performed solely on the basis of the anonymised IP address and only up to the geographical level of the federal states/regions. In no case can the specific place of residence of a user be identified from the geographical information obtained in this way.

1.3 Identification number of the device

To recognise computer systems, the range measurement uses either a cookie with the identifier “ioam.de”, a local storage object or an anonymous signature, which is created from various information automatically transferred from your browser. The validity of the cookies is limited to a maximum of 1 year.

1.4 Log-in verification

To measure shared use (use of a service from various devices), the user identification during log-in, if available, can be transferred to INFOnline as an anonymised control total.

2. Deletion

The saved usage processes shall be deleted after 7 months at the latest.

3. Objection

If you do not wish to participate in the measurement, you can opt out via the following link: http://optout.ioam.de

Further information on data protection during the measurement procedure can be found on the website of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) that performs the measurement procedure, the AGOF data protection website (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the IVW data protection website (http://www.ivw.eu).

(2) We use the SCM procedure to analyse the use of our website and regularly improve it. We can use the generated statistics to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as users. The legal basis for the use of the SCM procedure is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
